This Privacy Policy describes how Loads and Roads LLC, dba Tidy Loads Laundry, its affiliates, and subsidiaries (“Tidy Loads Laundry”, “we” or “us”), handle information that may be collected or provided by us in connection with your use of the Tidy Loads Laundry platform (“Platform”), which includes but may not be limited to Tidy Loads Laundry’s websites, mobile applications, and network, now available or developed in the future. Tidy Loads Laundry provides individuals or businesses seeking specific laundry services (“Customers“) with direct-to-consumer laundry services, including wash, fold, dry, and dry cleaning. This information may include transactions, activities, and any other data obtained as you visit or use the Tidy Loads Laundry Platform.

Information Needed for Account Creation:

Our Tidy Loads Laundry mobile application may automatically collect precise location data. This information is used to enhance the services on the platform, including:

You can opt out of this information collection by disabling location access for Tidy Loads Laundry in your device settings or by uninstalling the Tidy Loads Laundry mobile application from your device.

Transaction Information:

Transaction details related to the use of the Platform are collected. Any payments made via our Platform are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not directly collect or store any payment card information entered through our services, but we may receive information associated with your payment card information (e.g., your billing details). This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Details about the service requested, such as the requested date or time, type of service, and quantity
  • Date and time the service was provided or completed
  • Total amount charged for the service, including any taxes or fees
  • Any tips, bonuses, or gratuities provided by the user
  • Billing details associated with the payment card used for the transaction, such as billing address or last four digits of the card number

Information shared using public sharing features will be considered “public,” unless otherwise required by applicable law, and is not subject to the privacy protections referenced herein.

  • Events: We may collect personal information from individuals when attending or hosting conferences, trade shows, and other events. Additionally, personal information may be collected from individuals and third parties to assess and pursue potential business opportunities.
  • Referral Services: Our services may offer tools and functionalities allowing you to provide information about your friends through our referral service. Third parties may also use these services to upload information about you. Our referral services may also allow you to forward or share certain content with a friend, such as an email inviting your friend to use our services.
ONLINE TRACKING/DO NOT TRACK

When using the Platform, we and third-party partners, such as ad networks, may use tracking technologies, such as tracking cookies and pixel tags (“Technologies”), to automatically collect information about your online activities on other websites or in other apps over time. Such information includes how the Platform is used and what devices are used to access the Platform.

  1. Cookies: Cookies are small text files placed in device browsers that store preferences and facilitate and enhance your experience. Our Platform uses cookies and other related technologies. Cookies are also placed by third parties we have engaged. When you visit our website it can be necessary to store and/or read certain data from your device by using technologies such as cookies.
    • Technical or functional cookies: Some cookies ensure that certain parts of the website work properly and that your user preferences remain known. By placing functional cookies, we make it easier for you to visit our website. This way, you do not need to repeatedly enter the same information when visiting our website and, for example, the items remain in your shopping cart until you have paid.     • Statistics cookies: We use statistics cookies to optimize the website experience for our users. With these statistics cookies we get insights in the usage of our website.
    • Marketing/Tracking cookies: Marketing/Tracking cookies are cookies or any other form of local storage, used to create user profiles to display advertising or to track the user on this website or across several websites for similar marketing purposes.
  1. Pixel Tags/Web Beacons: A pixel tag (also known as a web beacon) is a piece of code embedded in our services that collects information about engagement on our services. We may also include web beacons in e-mails to understand whether messages have been opened, acted on, or forwarded.
  2. Google Maps APIs: We may utilize Google Maps API to provide various functionalities, such as custom maps, location-based services, and route planning. Google Maps API may collect information from you and your device for security purposes. Any information collected by Google Maps API is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
  3. Local Storage: Local storage, also known as DOM storage, allows web apps to store client-side data. It supports persistent data storage similar to cookies but with greater capacity and no information stored in the HTTP request header.
  4. Sessions: We use sessions to identify the areas of our website that you have visited. A session is a small piece of data stored on your computer or mobile device by your web browser.

Our uses of these Technologies fall into the following general categories:

Operationally Necessary: This includes Technologies that allow you access to our services, applications, and tools that are required to identify irregular website behavior, prevent fraudulent activity, improve security, or allow you to make use of our functionality.

Web Fonts: For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose your browser has to establish a direct connection to Google servers. Google thus becomes aware that our web page was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our plugin. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font is used by your computer.

Advertising- or Targeting-Related: We may use first party or third-party Technologies to deliver content, including ads relevant to your interests, on our services or on third-party websites. See “Individual’s Privacy Rights and Choices” below to understand your choices regarding these Technologies.

Analytics:

We may use Technologies and other third-party tools to process analytics information on our services.

The Platform may contain links to other websites/applications, and other websites/applications may reference or link to our Platform. These third-party services are not controlled by us. We encourage our users to read the privacy policies of each website and application with which they interact. We do not endorse, screen or approve, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices or content of such other websites or applications. Providing personal information to third-party websites or applications is at your own risk.

You may be able to change browser, operating system, or app settings to block and/or delete these technologies in accessing the Platform. However, the functionality of the Platform may be affected by these changes.

Opting Out:

Tidy Loads Laundry provides you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communications from the Platform and third-party partners. You may opt out of receiving text messages or push notifications through our mobile application. You may also opt out of precise location-based information collection.

If you receive an unwanted email from us, you can use the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of the email to opt out of receiving future emails. Note that you will continue to receive transaction-related emails regarding products or services you have requested. We may also send you certain non-promotional communications regarding us and our services, and you will not be able to opt out of those communications (e.g., communications regarding our services or updates to our Terms or this Privacy Policy).

You may opt out of receiving text messages from us by following the instructions in the text message you have received from us or by otherwise contacting us. We may send you push notifications through our mobile application. You may opt out from receiving these push notifications by changing the settings on your mobile device. With your consent, we may also collect precise location-based information via our mobile application. You may opt out of this collection by changing the settings on your mobile device.

Certain opt-out services on a browser may be available from personalized advertisements services or other advertising networks who are members of the Network Advertising Initiative or who subscribe to the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising. Please note that cookie-based opt-outs are not effective on mobile applications. Enabling/disabling and deleting cookies: You can use your internet browser to automatically or manually delete cookies. You can also specify that certain cookies may not be placed. Do Not Track: Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that you can set in certain web browsers. Please note that we do not respond to or honor DNT signals or similar mechanisms transmitted by web browsers.

DATA USE AND SHARING

The Platform may contain links to other websites, online services, or other third-party providers. These sites are responsible for their own privacy practices and terms of service and are not regulated by Tidy Loads Laundry. This Privacy Policy applies strictly to information collected by Tidy Loads Laundry.

We may use personal information for other purposes that are clearly disclosed to you at the time you provide personal information or with your consent. Your personal information will NOT be provided to third parties for their own marketing purposes without your consent.

Your email address, phone number, and other personal information may be used to provide you access to certain functionalities and features of our Platform, help increase operational efficiency, contribute to the improvement of the Platform, develop new products and services, or contact you in connection with transactions, services, and policy changes, and other activities on or through the Platform. We may use personal information and other data collected through the Platform to create de-identified and/or aggregate data, such as de-identified demographic information and information about the devices from which you access our Platform. We do not attempt to reidentify de-identified or aggregated data, except as required by applicable law.

Additionally, we may share portions of our log file data, which may include IP addresses, with third parties such as web analytics partners, application developers, and ad networks for analytics purposes. If your IP address is shared, it may be used to estimate general location and other technographics, such as connection speed and device type. CHILDREN’S INFORMATION

Tidy Loads Laundry’s Platform is not directed to children under 13 (or other age as required by local law) and does not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent and believe that your child under the age of 13 has used the Platform and provided personal information through the Platform, please contact us and we will work to delete that account on the Platform and any personal information collected from them, unless we have a legal obligation to keep it, and terminate the child’s account, if applicable.

SECURITY SAFEGUARDS

We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement various measures to ensure its protection. When you place an order or provide personal information through our service, we utilize a secure server and employ Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt sensitive/credit information during transmission. This encrypted data is stored securely in our Payment gateway provider’s database, accessible only to authorized personnel with special access rights, who are required to maintain the confidentiality of such information. Tidy Loads Laundry has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control and we take appropriate steps to ensure that a consumer’s information is secure on its system. While we take extensive measures to safeguard your information, it’s important to note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This means Tidy Loads Laundry cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept liability for unauthorized disclosure. By using our Platform or providing personal information to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of our services.
